New feature launch with Africa Basel x Artworld Passport

Art Maps are live!

We have launched our new Art Map feature.

Our first Art Map is now available on the Art Meets app – curated collaboratively by Africa Basel and Art World Passport. 

This map brings together key cultural sites, exhibitions, museums, art fairs and events across Basel that connect to African and diasporic art, histories, and cultural exchange. Together, these sites reveal histories of exchange and extraction, collecting, trade, missionary work, research, migration, and artistic collaboration that have linked Basel and the African continent for generations.

Africa Basel takes place from 17-21 June 2026. Join as we continue to journey with the Artworld Passport project.
